Walton County is planning to put a 230 acre recreation park in Walnut Grove.

The City decided to budget $70,000 to put a porch and sign on the new Public Works garage but turned down an extra $10,000 for the Library.

Last year the City refused to reinstate CODE RED (an alert service for emergencies and other information) for the citizens that would cost only $1500.00 per year for all citizens.

Walnut Grove was is being given almost $500,000 in Covid Relief Funding. It appears that the city plans to use it for the Sewage System Development of Phase II and Phase III.
